From January 12th to 18th, a team of 30 dedicated experts from Peedh Parai International (USA) joined hands with nearly 250 local heroes from GSB Sabha and Balmitra Foundation to transform lives. Together, we brought hope, healing, and smiles to 113 children through complex surgeries-spanning spine, orthopedic, thoracic, and abdominal procedures. In just six days, we witnessed the power of collaboration, compassion, and skill.
Despite the immense challenges, each surgery was a testament to the resilience of our patients, the expertise of our team, and the unwavering support of our partners. Every child received world-class care-completely free of charge-with all expenses, including transport, food, hospital stays, and post-operative care, covered by our incredible logistical teams.
Over the past 13 years, Peedh Parai International has conducted 12 missions to Nagpur, providing life-changing surgeries to over 1,300 children from underserved communities. These are children born with conditions that impact their appearance, health, and future-children who now have a new lease on life thanks to the collective efforts of a global community that believes in the power of giving.
Our mission goes beyond the operating room. We aim to empower local medical teams through training, education, and mentorship. We work alongside surgeons, residents, nurses, and students to strengthen infrastructure, technology, and healthcare delivery systems, ensuring sustainable change for years to come.
