HEALTHY TRUFFLES TO MAKE WITH YOUR KIDS: SUPER EASY AND NO-BAKING REQUIRED

INGREDIENTS:

  • Dates (1 Cup)
  • Cocoa Powder (1/4 cup)
  • Nut Butter: almond, peanut, sunflower, etc. (1/2 cup)
  • Vanilla Extract (1 teaspoons)
  • Strawberries 

HOW TO MAKE THE HEALTHY TRUFFLES:

  1. Soak the dates in water to soften them.  (Medjool dates are already soft so you can skip this step) and then drain the water.
  2. Put the dates, cocoa powder, nut butter and vanilla extract in a food processor and mix it up.  
  3. Divide the mixture into 12 pieces and roll into 12 balls.  
  4. Cover each ball with diced up strawberries.
  5. Place on a tray and let the bites firm up in the fridge.
  6. Enjoy!
