  • Type 2 diabetes
  • Heart disease
  • High blood pressure
  • Fatty Liver Disease
  • Sleep Apnea
  • Joint problems
  • Asthma
  • Low self-esteem
  • Bullying
  • Depression
Addressing Obesity Starts at Home:
  • Do not buy soda
  • Do not buy juice
  • Encourage your family to drink water
  • Switch to low-fat or non-fat unsweetened milk or dairy products
  • Eat vegetables and fruits with all meals and snacks
  • Choose lean meats, poultry, fish, lentils, and beans
Limit total screen time to 2 hours a day:
  • As a family, promote lean time over screen time
