Sugar is so hard to resist! Our brains are hardwired to seek out sweet things.

Research has shown that sugar is as addictive as Cocaine. 

Sugar causes a release of dopamine: that feel good, pleasure feeling, and satisfying hormone.  However, the addictive property of sugar can also lead to some serious long-term health effects:

  • weight gain
  • fatty liver disease
  • chronic inflammation
  • diabetes
  • heart disease
  • joint pain
  • stroke

How Do You Cut Sugar from Your Diet? 

Take it SLOW.  

The first and simplest thing to do is to swap out your drinks for Water.  Juice and Soda are one of the highest sources of sugar that we often forget about.
